Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.82% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 1.66% or 500.0 points to trade at 30660.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 1.01% or 300.0 points to end at 30000.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was up 0.73% or 100.0 points to 13800.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cemargos (CN:CCB), which lost 6.13% or 640.0 points to trade at 9800.0 in late trade. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) declined 5.92% or 510.0 points to end at 8110.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) shed 3.47% or 840.0 points to 23400.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 1.37% or 1.70 to $122.22 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 2.87% or 65.00 to hit $2326.50 , while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.35% or 17.60 to trade at $1322.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.47% to 2866.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.45% to 881.78.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.32% at 89.93.
