Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Investment, Agriculture and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.81%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 3.05% or 280.0 points to trade at 9450.0 at the close. Promigas (CN:PMG) added 2.70% or 200.0 points to end at 7600.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) was up 1.51% or 500.0 points to 33700.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS), which lost 1.64% or 640.0 points to trade at 38340.0 in late trade. Cemargos (CN:CCB) declined 1.21% or 120.0 points to end at 9810.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) shed 1.10% or 160.0 points to 14320.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 1 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 0.36% or 0.45 to $124.28 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.14% or 32.00 to hit $2839.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.70 to trade at $1312.30 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.92% to 2858.50, while BRL/COP rose 1.75% to 811.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 92.27.
