Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 2.92% or 260.0 points to trade at 9160.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 1.49% or 45.0 points to end at 3060.0 and Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA) was up 1.11% or 160.0 points to 14560.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 5.45% or 45.0 points to trade at 781.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 3.00% or 500.0 points to end at 16140.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 2.07% or 700.0 points to 33080.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 10 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.86% or 2.20 to $116.08 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 1.37% or 31.50 to hit $2266.50 , while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.04% or 0.50 to trade at $1300.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.16% to 2834.50, while BRL/COP fell 5.03% to 723.64.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 93.43.
