Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.31%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which rose 0.88% or 120.0 points to trade at 13820.0 at the close. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) added 0.80% or 15.0 points to end at 1900.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 0.72% or 480.0 points to 67300.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p), which lost 2.13% or 65.0 points to trade at 2985.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 1.56% or 0.4 points to end at 25.3 and Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) shed 1.55% or 150.0 points to 9550.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 7 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.11% or 1.34 to $118.88 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 2.03% or 39.00 to hit $1878.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.80 to trade at $1245.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.35% to 3028.09, while BRL/COP rose 0.31% to 915.83.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 94.06.
