Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.91% or 220.0 points to trade at 11760.0 at the close. Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS) added 0.20% or 80.0 points to end at 40960.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was up 0.13% or 20.0 points to 15480.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 2.45% or 25.0 points to trade at 995.0 in late trade. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) declined 1.67% or 320.0 points to end at 18880.0 and Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) shed 1.19% or 0.3 points to 24.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 20 to 10 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.99% or 1.27 to $126.95 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.29% or 6.00 to hit $2048.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.80% or 10.22 to trade at $1274.58 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.41% to 2949.06, while BRL/COP rose 0.63% to 934.49.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.60% at 93.47.
