Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Public Services and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bcolombia (CN:BIC), which rose 0.99% or 320.0 points to trade at 32700.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 0.68% or 220.0 points to end at 32800.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.31% or 100.0 points to 32340.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 3.76% or 12.0 points to trade at 307.0 in late trade. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) declined 1.78% or 180.0 points to end at 9920.0 and Empresa de Energia de Bogota SA ESP (CN:EEB) shed 1.67% or 30.0 points to 1765.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 15 to 8 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 2.62% or 2.75 to $102.40 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 4.49% or 99.00 to hit $2107.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.14% or 1.70 to trade at $1247.70 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.22% to 3183.60, while BRL/COP rose 0.58% to 816.01.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.19% at 97.363.
