Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Agriculture and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Interconnection Electric SA ESP (CN:ISA), which rose 2.16% or 300.0 points to trade at 14220.0 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 1.33% or 130.0 points to end at 9900.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 0.74% or 80.0 points to 10840.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which lost 1.75% or 520.0 points to trade at 29200.0 in late trade. Bcolombia (CN:BIC) declined 1.69% or 500.0 points to end at 29100.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) shed 0.98% or 10.0 points to 1010.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 12 and 2 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.12% or 0.14 to $120.22 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.68% or 13.00 to hit $1890.50 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.70% or 8.80 to trade at $1257.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.51% to 2996.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.46% to 896.50.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 93.51.
