Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Public Services, Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.43% or 200.0 points to trade at 14200.0 at the close. Empresa De Energia De Bogota (CN:EEB) added 0.61% or 10.0 points to end at 1660.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 0.41% or 15.0 points to 3695.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which lost 3.71% or 200.0 points to trade at 5190.0 in late trade. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) declined 1.86% or 500.0 points to end at 26440.0 and Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG) shed 1.02% or 180.0 points to 17540.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 7 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.90% or 1.23 to $135.20 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.36% or 10.00 to hit $2784.50 , while the June Gold contract rose 1.19% or 14.20 to trade at $1207.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.72% to 2516.50, while BRL/COP rose 0.20% to 818.51.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.41% at 99.66.
