Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Services and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemargos (CN:CCB), which rose 3.25% or 290.0 points to trade at 9200.0 at the close. Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 3.12% or 240.0 points to end at 7940.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) was up 1.08% or 180.0 points to 16820.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which lost 2.73% or 85.0 points to trade at 3025.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.54% or 6.0 points to end at 384.0 and Conconcret (CN:CIC) 0.00% or 0.0 points to 790.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 10 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 1.13% or 1.36 to $119.47 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 0.17% or 4.50 to hit $2615.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1293.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.62% to 2867.64, while BRL/COP rose 1.25% to 791.42.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.41% at 93.89.
