Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.03% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (BVC:ETB), which rose 6.67% or 5.00 points to trade at 80.00 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (BVC:DVI_p) added 1.71% or 320.00 points to end at 18,980.00 and Mineros SA (BVC:MAS) was up 1.15% or 40.00 points to 3,520.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia SA (BVC:BIC), which lost 3.62% or 1,360.00 points to trade at 36,240.00 in late trade. Corporacion Financiera Colombiana (BVC:CFV_p) declined 3.21% or 380.00 points to end at 11,440.00 and Grupo Argos SA (BVC:ARG) shed 1.68% or 300.00 points to 17,600.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 0 to 0 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 2.39% or 6.47 to $263.78 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 8.21% or 634.00 to hit $7,088.00 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.96% or 25.40 to trade at $2,684.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.01% to 4,221.27, while BRL/COP rose 1.15% to 778.24.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.42% at 100.94.
