Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Industrials, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO), which rose 2.43% or 75.0 points to trade at 3160.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.89% or 85.0 points to end at 4585.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 1.80% or 1240.0 points to 69980.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 0.50% or 2.0 points to trade at 400.0 in late trade. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 0.29% or 100.0 points to end at 34220.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 0.11% or 10.0 points to 8810.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 19 to 6 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.79% or 0.95 to $118.72 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.70% or 19.50 to hit $2751.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.10 to trade at $1312.60 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.56% to 2856.47, while BRL/COP fell 1.47% to 794.17.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 92.95.
