Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Industrials, Services and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP gained 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 2.45% or 0.6 points to trade at 25.1 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 2.41% or 700.0 points to end at 29700.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) was up 1.34% or 130.0 points to 9830.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Etb (CN:ETB), which lost 1.96% or 10.0 points to trade at 499.0 in late trade. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 1.04% or 50.0 points to end at 4750.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 1.03% or 300.0 points to 28700.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 10 and 4 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was up 0.86% or 1.10 to $129.67 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.83% or 17.00 to hit $2032.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.67% or 8.48 to trade at $1281.68 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.63% to 2998.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.19% to 920.08.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.14% at 92.84.
