Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Investment and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.10% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which rose 3.33% or 35.0 points to trade at 1085.0 at the close. Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) added 1.95% or 660.0 points to end at 34460.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 1.73% or 65.0 points to 3815.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 3.14% or 12.0 points to trade at 370.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 1.53% or 45.0 points to end at 2890.0 and Corporacion Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) shed 0.61% or 100.0 points to 16400.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 13 to 7 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 0.34% or 0.35 to $103.90 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 0.25% or 6.00 to hit $2363.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.03% or 0.40 to trade at $1287.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.12% to 3139.15, while BRL/COP rose 0.08% to 845.29.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 95.287.
