Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP added 0.09% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which rose 1.16% or 55.0 points to trade at 4800.0 at the close. Grupo Nutresa SA (CN:NCH) added 0.51% or 140.0 points to end at 27820.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) was up 0.50% or 10.0 points to 2025.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupoaval (CN:GAA), which lost 2.69% or 35.0 points to trade at 1265.0 in late trade. Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) declined 2.27% or 0.6 points to end at 25.8 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) shed 1.11% or 120.0 points to 10680.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 14 to 10 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for March delivery was down 1.31% or 1.60 to $120.45 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in March fell 4.94% or 94.00 to hit $1807.00 , while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.65% or 8.20 to trade at $1278.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.27% to 2958.00, while BRL/COP fell 1.19% to 885.89.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.08% at 92.91.
