Investing.com – Colombia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Services, Industrials and Investment sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP rose 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC), which rose 2.45% or 0.6 points to trade at 25.1 at the close. Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) added 1.24% or 120.0 points to end at 9820.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 0.89% or 25.0 points to 2830.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Conconcret (CN:CIC), which lost 1.95% or 20.0 points to trade at 1005.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.74% or 9.0 points to end at 508.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) shed 0.72% or 240.0 points to 33260.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 15 to 11 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.66% or 0.85 to $128.47 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 2.08% or 42.00 to hit $1978.50 , while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.19% or 2.48 to trade at $1290.28 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.22% to 2943.82, while BRL/COP rose 0.53% to 924.62.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.29% at 93.00.
