Strategic Minerals PLC is a minerals production and development company engaged in exploration, development and operation of mining projects. The Company's segments include Southern Minerals Group LLC, Development Asset and United Kingdom. The Southern Minerals Group LLC (SMG) segment is involved in the sale of magnetite to both the United States domestic market and transported magnetite to port for onward export sale. The Development Asset segment holds the Leigh Creek Copper Mine Development Asset in Australia. The United Kingdom segment holds an investment in the Redmoor project in Cornwall, United Kingdom. The Company’s Leigh Creek Copper Mine (LCCM) covers approximately 935 square kilometers of exploration leases (575.1 hectares mining leases) and consists of three sites, including MOL project, Lyndhurst project and ML 5741 Mount Coffin. Its Redmoor project is located between the village of Kelly Bray and the small town of Callington in southeast Cornwall, United Kingdom.

    • Strategic Minerals is a real bargain at this level, I expect the share price to drop slightly in coming months to .3 to .35 range until bank financing is sorted for LCCM, very likely it would happen as SML is profitable, creditworthy and run by a professional board of directors (Everything a tier one bank look for when financing). I'm optimistic this will be a major success story in next 12 to 18 months, if you have patience to hold.
