Strategic Equity Capital plc is a United Kingdom-based investment company. The Company is engaged in conducting its business as an investment trust. The investment objective of the Company is to achieve absolute returns (growth in the value of investments) rather than relative returns (attempting to outperform selected indices) over a medium-term period, principally through capital growth. The Company invests primarily in equity and equity-linked securities quoted on markets. The Company also invests up to 20% of the Company’s gross assets at the time of investment in securities quoted on other recognized exchanges. It invests in various sectors, including healthcare, financial services, technology, media, travel and leisure, real estate, industrial goods and service, and construction and material. Gresham House Asset Management Limited is the investment manager of the Company.
