It also owns and operates power stations. In addition, the company offers consultancy services in the areas of operation and maintenance, design and engineering, survey and investigations, geotechnical engineering, construction management, and contract management, procurement, project management, supervision, operation and maintenance of power plants, rural road projects and rural electrification projects. Further, it is involved in construction contract services, as well as trades in power. NHPC Limited was incorporated in 1975 and is based in Faridabad, India.
