Meyer Burger Technology uses a more efficient manufacturing process that reduces energy consumption by 30%. This could reduce the company's manufacturing costs and make it more competitive. If Meyer Burger Technology keeps the German factory, it could use it to manufacture solar modules using its energy-saving technology. The company could export these solar modules around the world, including the United States.

Meyer Burger to start PV cell, module production in May Swiss solar manufacturer Meyer Burger is now looking for people to work at its new factories in Freiberg and Bitterfeld-Wolfen, Germany.
