The new owners might decide to go private as well in which case they will buy your shares

Don't forget the new investor needs to buy the debt as well. And the glazers has not paid down the debt since the leverage buyout.

If the Glazers manage to get £4 billion or anything around that mark, then they will have done well. That would equate to a return on initial investment of over 1,000% and a compound annual growth rate of over 16%, comfortably beating an investment in the S&P 500 over the same period. For all the rightful criticism that has flown the Glazers way, they are set to pull off a masterstroke. They bought the club as a business and will sell it as a trophy. It’s the modern equivalent of turning water into wine.

The Glazers are pumping this stock before they sell. I bet they are offloading these shares in the meantime.

So Glazer family bought Ronaldo to pump the price so they can now offload their stocks?

Ronaldo wasnt happy either. Its best if Glazer family goes as soon as possible! I heard tumours of Apple buying it and then denying it. But they won't say anything until sell goes through probably not to increase the price 🤔
