IGI Holdings Limited provides general insurance products in Pakistan. It operates through Non-Life Insurance, Life Insurance, Brokerage business, Takaful Business, and Investments Business segments. The company provides fire and property insurance coverage against damages caused by fire, riot and strike, explosion, earthquake, atmospheric damage, flood, electric fluctuation, and terrorism; marine, aviation, and transport insurance coverage against cargo risk, war risk, damages occurring in inland transit and other related perils; motor insurance provides car coverage, indemnity against third party loss, and other related coverage; accident and health insurance coverage against personal accident, hospitalization, and other medical benefits; and miscellaneous insurance coverage against burglary, loss of cash in safe and cash in transit, engineering losses, travel, and other coverage. It also offers accident and health, pension fund, and family takaful services. The company provides shares and commodities brokerage, money market and foreign exchange brokerage, and advisory and consulting services. The company was formerly known as IGI Insurance Limited and changed its name to IGI Holdings Limited in March 2018. IGI Holdings Limited was incorporated in 1953 and is headquartered in Karachi, Pakistan.
