Halfords Group plc is a United Kingdom-based independent operator of vehicle, servicing, maintenance and repairs. The Company provides motoring and cycling products and services in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. Its Retail segment is involved in the retail of automotive, cars, leisure, cycling products, scooters, and parts, as well as clothing and accessories through its stores. The Company operates through two segments: Retail and Car Servicing. The operations of the Retail segment comprise the retailing of automotive, leisure and cycling products through retail stores. The operations of the Car Servicing segment comprise car servicing and repairs performed from Autocentres and mobile vans. The Company has more than 400 Halfords stores, three Performance Cycling stores (trading as Tredz and Giant), approximately 600 garages, and has access to 230 mobile service vans (trading as Halfords Mobile Expert, Tyres on the Drive and National) and 192 commercial vans.

The share price is now above pre virus levels. Their latest up date said sales in April were down 28% and they could not give any forward guidance. How can a business with a relatively constant cost level and sales down 28% be worth more? These markets are crazy in their optimism
