Elaf Islamic Bank provides Shari’ah-compliant financial services to cater the need of individuals, corporates, and financial institutions in Iraq. Its retail banking products and services include current, savings, and investment accounts; personal, home, auto, educational, travel, and electronic and other appliance financing services; credit, debit, and prepaid cards; online and mobile banking services; and money transfer services. The company also provides various financing services; project financing services; and business accounts, small and medium enterprise financing services, trade and working capital facilities, express trade services, commercial vehicle financing services, merchant financing services, and foreign exchange and treasury services. In addition, it offers financial services to financial institutions; letter of credit and letter of guarantee; a range of treasury products; and direct investing, share dealing, and systematic investment planning services. Elaf Islamic Bank was formerly known as Al Baraka for Investment & Finance and changed its name to Elaf Islamic Bank in 2007. The company was incorporated in 2001 and is based in Baghdad, Iraq.
