AIICO Insurance Plc provides risk underwriting and related financial services in Nigeria. It operates through Life Insurance, Non-Life Insurance, Health, Pension Manager, and Asset Management segments. The life insurance segment offers life, term assurance, guaranteed pensions, endowment pensions, mortgage endowment, savings, and protection products, as well as other long-term contracts. The Non-Life Insurance segment provides auto, household, commercial and business interruption insurance; and general insurance to individuals and businesses. The Health segment offers prepaid health plans to cater for the health needs of individuals and corporate organizations. The Pension Manager Segment provides pension administration services to private and public sector contributors. The Asset Management segments offers portfolio management services, structured investments, and mutual funds for corporate and individual clients, as well as provides portfolio/fund management services. In addition, it offers general business, annuity, personal accident, pure risk, home, and travel insurance, as well as marine, manufacturing, agricultural, and oil and gas insurance; and various risk plans. The company markets its products through insurance brokers and agents. AIICO Insurance Plc was founded in 1963 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
