The company also offers chemicals and specialty products; produces, trades, and markets seeds and planting materials; sells crop care products; exports agriculture-based products; and markets consumer goods. In addition, it offers tractors, sprayers, and harvesters; and manufactures, exports, and markets tea bags and packets. The company was formerly known as AgStar Fertilizers PLC and changed its name to AgStar PLC in August 2014. AgStar PLC was incorporated in 2002 and is based in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
