Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Property, Financials and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite gained 0.52%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Asuransi Jasa Tania Tbk (JK:ASJT), which rose 21.00% or 105.00 points to trade at 605.00 at the close. Kimia Farma Persero Tbk (JK:KAEF) added 12.14% or 250 points to end at 2310 and Victoria Investama Tbk (JK:VICO) was up 9.45% or 12 points to 139 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi (JK:HITS), which lost 24.05% or 190.00 points to trade at 600.00 in late trade. Island Concepts Indonesia Tbk (JK:ICON) declined 17.93% or 52 points to end at 238 and Multipolar Technology Tbk (JK:MLPT) shed 14.75% or 180 points to 1040.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 150 to 150 and 120 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.80% or 0.42 to $52.23 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.89% or 0.49 to hit $54.87 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.90 to trade at $1288.00 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.15% to 13303.5, while AUD/IDR fell 0.99% to 9981.10.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 100.17.
