Shares of U.S.-listed Chinese companies traded marginally lower in Hong Kong on Thursday morning. Major tech names like Alibaba (NYSE:BABA) Group Holding (NYSE: BABA), JD.com Inc (NASDAQ: JD), and Tencent Holdings (HK:0700) (OTC: TCEHY) were in the red, while Baidu Inc (NASDAQ: NASDAQ:BIDU) was trading flat.

In the electric vehicle segment, NIO Inc (NYSE: NIO), Li Auto (​​NASDAQ: LI), and Xpeng Inc (NYSE: NYSE:XPEV) fell as much as 2%.
