Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Technology, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE), which rose 1.86% or 2.30 points to trade at 125.80 at the close. AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) added 1.28% or 7.5 points to end at 592.0 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was up 1.04% or 2.6 points to 251.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb), which lost 1.31% or 1.20 points to trade at 90.60 in late trade. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 1.26% or 1.10 points to end at 86.20 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) shed 1.15% or 2.10 points to 180.10.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 236 to 193 and 2 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.97% or 0.89 to $46.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.96% or 0.47 to hit $49.99 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.19% or 2.10 to trade at $1091.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.04% to 9.4711, while USD/SEK fell 0.12% to 8.6448.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 97.53.
