Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 1.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 0.43% or 0.14 points to trade at 32.76 at the close. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) added 0.35% or 0.02 points to end at 6.24 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) was up 0.34% or 0.30 points to 95.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which lost 3.47% or 6.60 points to trade at 183.40 in late trade. Sandvik AB (ST:SAND) declined 3.37% or 7.10 points to end at 203.80 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) shed 3.16% or 2.50 points to 75.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 463 to 305 and 80 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.87% or 0.61 to $69.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.76% or 0.56 to hit $73.19 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.12% or 2.95 to trade at $2,525.95 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.14% to 11.39, while USD/SEK fell 0.12% to 10.28.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 101.32.
