Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Consumer Services, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.81% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 2.84% or 36.0 points to trade at 1305.5 at the close. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) added 2.22% or 1.9 points to end at 85.5 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.05% or 3.2 points to 307.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 4.50% or 0.30 points to trade at 6.35 in late trade. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) declined 3.30% or 4.5 points to end at 132.9 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) shed 2.52% or 3.92 points to 151.38.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 316 to 308 and 46 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 2.02% or 1.38 to $66.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $77.72 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 1.00 to trade at $1300.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.18% to 10.2956, while USD/SEK rose 0.18% to 8.8258.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.03% at 94.09.
