Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Consumer Goods, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.52% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which rose 0.56% or 0.70 points to trade at 126.70 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.53% or 1.40 points to end at 265.00 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was up 0.29% or 0.30 points to 103.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 2.25% or 0.79 points to trade at 34.32 in late trade. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 1.84% or 16.0 points to end at 855.5 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) shed 1.31% or 1.9 points to 142.7.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 519 to 215 and 61 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was up 1.57% or 0.74 to $47.83 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October rose 2.02% or 1.03 to hit $52.06 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.78 to trade at $1295.18 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.12% to 9.5307, while USD/SEK fell 0.34% to 8.1117.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.23% at 93.42.
