Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb), which rose 3.01% or 4.30 points to trade at 147.20 at the close. Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA) added 2.29% or 10.7 points to end at 478.4 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) was up 1.97% or 4.10 points to 212.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which lost 4.38% or 34.0 points to trade at 742.0 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 3.11% or 6.45 points to end at 201.00 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) shed 2.73% or 1.02 points to 36.30.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 341 to 275 and 57 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.12% or 0.68 to $59.99 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.00% or 0.71 to hit $69.94 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 1.46% or 17.90 to trade at $1208.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.22% to 10.2719, while USD/SEK rose 0.62% to 9.0747.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 96.83.
