Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Healthcare, Basic Materials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA), which rose 1.63% or 0.52 points to trade at 32.36 at the close. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) added 0.82% or 0.95 points to end at 117.45 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) was up 0.64% or 1.40 points to 220.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SAAB AB ser. B (ST:SAABb), which lost 5.47% or 13.30 points to trade at 229.10 in late trade. Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb) declined 4.26% or 0.30 points to end at 6.63 and Electrolux AB Class B (ST:ELUXb) shed 2.29% or 2.30 points to 96.40.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 503 to 251 and 89 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.99% or 0.73 to $74.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.78% or 0.60 to hit $77.53 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 5.85 to trade at $2,533.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.25% to 11.35, while USD/SEK fell 0.08% to 10.26.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 101.62.
