Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Basic Materials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.16%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.66% or 0.70 points to trade at 42.88 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 1.48% or 2.0 points to end at 139.6 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 1.38% or 2.15 points to 158.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which lost 6.07% or 11.2 points to trade at 174.0 in late trade. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 1.29% or 1.2 points to end at 94.9 and Alfa Laval AB (ST:ALFA) shed 1.21% or 2.5 points to 204.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 331 to 274 and 62 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.11% or 0.81 to $73.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.45% or 0.35 to hit $77.04 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.30% or 3.80 to trade at $1255.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.04% to 10.2449, while USD/SEK fell 0.44% to 8.7280.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.35% at 93.80.
