Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which rose 1.77% or 0.69 points to trade at 39.62 at the close. Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 1.00% or 1.80 points to end at 182.30 and Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA) was up 0.98% or 0.95 points to 98.25 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb), which lost 1.76% or 2.85 points to trade at 158.85 in late trade. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 1.46% or 2.90 points to end at 195.50 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) shed 1.35% or 5.0 points to 366.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 324 to 286 and 53 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 1.55% or 0.90 to $57.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 1.57% or 0.99 to hit $62.25 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.88% or 11.39 to trade at $1283.51 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.26% to 9.9131, while USD/SEK rose 0.15% to 8.3642.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 93.16.
