Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 1.11%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were AB SKF B (ST:SKFb), which rose 3.06% or 5.0 points to trade at 166.8 at the close. H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb) added 2.39% or 3.3 points to end at 142.9 and ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb) was up 1.81% or 3.1 points to 177.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which lost 0.05% or 0.05 points to trade at 105.20 in late trade. Electrolux, AB ser. B (ST:ELUXb) unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to end at 194.2 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) gained 0.18% or 0.40 points to 219.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 392 to 242 and 45 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.51% or 0.38 to $73.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 0.99% or 0.76 to hit $77.87 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.44% or 5.50 to trade at $1261.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.01% to 10.2466, while USD/SEK fell 0.01% to 8.7242.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.10% at 93.85.
