Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Financials and Telecoms sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which rose 2.46% or 3.70 points to trade at 153.90 at the close. Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb) added 1.94% or 6.2 points to end at 325.3 and Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) was up 1.71% or 6.1 points to 363.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which lost 3.32% or 4.5 points to trade at 131.8 in late trade. Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) declined 0.98% or 0.98 points to end at 98.70 and Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) shed 0.97% or 12.0 points to 1225.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 319 to 295 and 51 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.51% or 0.31 to $61.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.40% or 0.26 to hit $65.15 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.67% or 8.90 to trade at $1316.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.59% to 10.0610, while USD/SEK fell 0.21% to 8.1679.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.35% at 90.06.
