Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.20%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were ABB Ltd (ST:ABB), which rose 1.37% or 8.40 points to trade at 619.60 at the close. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) added 1.29% or 1.80 points to end at 141.70 and Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) was up 1.28% or 2.00 points to 154.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which lost 9.14% or 0.39 points to trade at 3.86 in late trade. Evolution AB (ST:EVOG) declined 2.36% or 23.00 points to end at 952.00 and Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb) shed 1.25% or 3.80 points to 300.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 388 to 346 and 91 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.09% or 0.06 to $68.66 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.59% or 0.43 to hit $72.35 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 18.11 to trade at $2,682.91 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.00% to 11.52, while USD/SEK unchanged 0.03% to 10.92.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 106.01.
