Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 added 0.18%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Samhallsbyggnadsbolaget i Norden AB (ST:SBBb), which rose 22.14% or 0.78 points to trade at 4.30 at the close. NIBE Industrier AB ser. B (ST:NIBEb) added 2.18% or 0.90 points to end at 43.60 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) was up 2.01% or 3.50 points to 174.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b), which lost 2.57% or 2.90 points to trade at 110.00 in late trade. Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) declined 1.75% or 2.50 points to end at 137.90 and AB SKF B (ST:SKFb) shed 1.49% or 3.20 points to 212.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 433 to 330 and 78 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.64% or 0.45 to $70.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.04% or 0.76 to hit $73.95 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 9.06 to trade at $2,652.94 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was unchanged 0.00% to 11.49, while USD/SEK rose 0.11% to 10.97.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 106.85.
