Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Industrials, Oil & Gas and Technology sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.07% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Atlas Copco AB ser. B (ST:ATCOb), which rose 2.35% or 7.2 points to trade at 314.1 at the close. Atlas Copco AB ser. A (ST:ATCOa) added 1.91% or 6.4 points to end at 342.0 and Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVb) was up 1.83% or 4.7 points to 262.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which lost 5.08% or 11.3 points to trade at 211.1 in late trade. Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) declined 1.07% or 1.6 points to end at 147.9 and Telia Company AB (ST:TELIA) shed 0.96% or 0.37 points to 38.12.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 384 to 335 and 84 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.17% or 0.61 to $51.53 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.01% or 0.58 to hit $56.99 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1287.70 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.23% to 9.5930, while USD/SEK fell 0.02% to 8.1462.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.20% at 93.08.
