Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Services, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 rose 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were H & M Hennes & Mauritz AB B (ST:HMb), which rose 4.97% or 6.8 points to trade at 144.5 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) added 2.16% or 7.0 points to end at 334.0 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was up 1.66% or 6.0 points to 368.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa), which lost 2.53% or 1.23 points to trade at 47.39 in late trade. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) declined 2.14% or 6.70 points to end at 306.00 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) shed 1.61% or 1.80 points to 110.05.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 364 to 262 and 47 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.48% or 0.32 to $66.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.05% or 0.04 to hit $76.42 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.15% or 1.90 to trade at $1301.30 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.56% to 10.1499, while USD/SEK fell 0.60% to 8.6102.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.03% at 93.53.
