Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Building & Construction, Media & Publishing and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share lost 2.13% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The Company for Coop. Insurance (TADAWUL:8010), which rose 3.90% or 6.00 points to trade at 160.00 at the close. Dallah Healthcare Holding Company (TADAWUL:4004) added 3.21% or 5.00 points to end at 161.00 and Al ELM Information Security Company CJSC (TADAWUL:7203) was up 2.08% or 18.80 points to 924.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AYYAN Investment Co SJSC (TADAWUL:2140), which lost 10.00% or 1.58 points to trade at 14.22 in late trade. Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:8060) declined 9.96% or 2.68 points to end at 24.22 and Allied Cooperative Insurance Group SJSC (TADAWUL:8150) shed 9.92% or 1.72 points to 15.62.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 266 to 40 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.20% or 0.88 to $72.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.99% or 0.76 to hit $76.05 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 2.28% or 56.40 to trade at $2,413.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.85% to 4.13, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.92% at 102.04.
