Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Energy & Utilities, Insurance and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.91%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200), which rose 10.00% or 4.70 points to trade at 51.70 at the close. Saudi Industrial Development Co. (TADAWUL:2130) added 8.98% or 2.55 points to end at 30.95 and Walaa Cooperative Insurance Company SJSC (TADAWUL:8060) was up 7.42% or 1.36 points to 19.68 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alkhaleej Training & Education Co (TADAWUL:4290), which lost 3.26% or 1.05 points to trade at 31.15 in late trade. Sustained Infrastructure Holding Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2190) declined 2.86% or 0.95 points to end at 32.25 and National Medical Care Company (TADAWUL:4005) shed 2.11% or 3.60 points to 167.40.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 215 to 109 and 14 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.41% or 0.29 to $70.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March rose 0.33% or 0.24 to hit $74.03 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.99 to trade at $2,633.89 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.22% to 3.92, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.15% at 107.63.
