Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financial Services, Industrial Investment and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.84%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Zamil Industrial Investment Co (TADAWUL:2240), which rose 4.31% or 1.40 points to trade at 33.90 at the close. Saudi RE Cooperative Reinsurance (TADAWUL:8200) added 4.20% or 1.90 points to end at 47.15 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8030) was up 4.16% or 0.94 points to 23.52 in late trade.
Biggest losers included National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291), which lost 3.94% or 8.40 points to trade at 204.60 in late trade. Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (TADAWUL:4200) declined 3.84% or 4.80 points to end at 120.20 and Riyadh Cement Co (TADAWUL:3092) shed 3.61% or 1.20 points to 32.05.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 169 to 143 and 21 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.52% or 0.36 to $69.10 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.47% or 0.34 to hit $72.22 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 15.65 to trade at $2,629.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.37% to 3.90, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.58% at 107.97.
