Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Telecoms & IT, Insurance and Energy & Utilities sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.66%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Nama Chemicals Co. (SE:2210), which rose 9.93% or 1.83 points to trade at 20.26 at the close. Arabian Shield Coop Insurance Co (SE:8070) added 9.89% or 3.68 points to end at 40.90 and The Mediterranean&Gulf Insurance Co (SE:8030) was up 9.86% or 3.10 points to 34.55 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fawaz Abdulaziz AlHokair Company (SE:4240), which lost 4.37% or 1.63 points to trade at 35.65 in late trade. Eastern Province Cement Co. (SE:3080) declined 3.42% or 0.80 points to end at 22.60 and Hail Cement Company (SE:3001) shed 3.38% or 0.31 points to 8.86.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 123 to 55 and 1 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.91% or 1.53 to $54.17 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 2.23% or 1.32 to hit $60.62 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.51% or 6.46 to trade at $1276.06 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.39% to 4.3534, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.72.
