Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Industrial Investment, Hotels & Tourism and Transport sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.65%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Riyadh Cables Group Company CJSC (TADAWUL:4142), which rose 8.03% or 10.60 points to trade at 142.60 at the close. Electrical Industries Co (TADAWUL:1303) added 6.20% or 0.46 points to end at 7.88 and National Company for Learning and Education SJSC (TADAWUL:4291) was up 6.00% or 13.40 points to 236.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Real Estate Co. (TADAWUL:4020), which lost 1.76% or 0.45 points to trade at 25.05 in late trade. Sahara International Petrochemical Company SJSC (TADAWUL:2310) declined 1.53% or 0.38 points to end at 24.42 and Tamkeen Human Resources Co (TADAWUL:1835) shed 1.41% or 1.00 points to 70.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 221 to 88 and 23 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.62% or 1.10 to $69.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.52% or 1.09 to hit $72.92 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.20% or 5.30 to trade at $2,663.80 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.17% to 3.95, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.01% to 3.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.16% at 106.25.
