Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Transport, Insurance and Retail sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share rose 0.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance (SE:8311), which rose 10.00% or 1.94 points to trade at 21.34 at the close. Saudi Cable Company (SE:2110) added 9.96% or 3.45 points to end at 38.10 and Saudi Fisheries Co. (SE:6050) was up 9.90% or 1.60 points to 17.76 in late trade.
Biggest losers included National Medical Care Company (SE:4005), which lost 3.31% or 1.60 points to trade at 46.80 in late trade. Saudi Company for Hardware (SE:4008) declined 2.73% or 2.40 points to end at 85.60 and Saudi Industrial Export Co (SE:4140) shed 2.34% or 3.00 points to 125.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 149 to 27 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.64% or 0.43 to $67.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.49% or 0.38 to hit $77.24 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1232.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.19% to 4.2688, while USD/SAR fell 0.02% to 3.7505.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 96.37.
