Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Financial Services, Real Estate Development and Insurance sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share gained 0.56% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Al Sagr Co-operative Insurance Co (TADAWUL:8180), which rose 10.00% or 1.88 points to trade at 20.68 at the close. National Gas & Industrialization Co (TADAWUL:2080) added 6.01% or 5.40 points to end at 95.30 and Aljazira Takaful Taawuni Company (TADAWUL:8012) was up 5.32% or 0.98 points to 19.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Al Taiseer Group TALCO Industrial Company SCJSC (TADAWUL:4143), which lost 7.72% or 5.50 points to trade at 65.70 in late trade. Rasan Information Technology (TADAWUL:8313) declined 7.11% or 4.90 points to end at 64.00 and MBC Group CJSC (TADAWUL:4072) shed 6.50% or 3.20 points to 46.05.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 153 to 132 and 26 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.11% or 0.09 to $80.93 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.09% or 0.08 to hit $84.95 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.03% or 0.80 to trade at $2,419.90 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was unchanged 0.02% to 4.09, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.75.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 103.87.
