Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Public Services, Investment and Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.10%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which rose 1.13% or 120.0 points to trade at 10720.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) added 0.91% or 260.0 points to end at 28960.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 0.84% or 500.0 points to 60000.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 1.99% or 170.0 points to trade at 8370.0 in late trade. Etb (CN:ETB) declined 1.25% or 8.0 points to end at 631.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) shed 1.25% or 35.0 points to 2765.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 8 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 0.83% or 1.15 to $137.62 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May rose 0.41% or 8.50 to hit $2101.00 , while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.28% or 3.55 to trade at $1254.75 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.07% to 2871.99, while BRL/COP rose 0.18% to 922.14.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.07% at 100.35.
