Investing.com – Portugal equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Technology, Telecoms and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Lisbon, the PSI 20 lost 0.05%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the PSI 20 were F.Rama (LS:RAMA), which rose 6.15% or 0.550 points to trade at 9.500 at the close. Pharol SGPS SA (LS:PHRA) added 3.10% or 0.0075 points to end at 0.2495 and The Navigator Company SA (LS:NVGR) was up 0.98% or 0.0500 points to 5.1300 in late trade.
Biggest losers included J. Martins SGPS (LS:JMT), which lost 1.02% or 0.1300 points to trade at 12.5800 in late trade. Galp Energia Nom (LS:GALP) declined 0.91% or 0.1550 points to end at 16.8550 and Mota Engil (LS:MOTA) shed 0.50% or 0.0150 points to 3.0050.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 16 to 13 and 8 ended unchanged on the Lisbon Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for September delivery was up 0.20% or 0.15 to $73.55 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in August fell 1.02% or 0.72 to hit $69.66 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.23% or 2.80 to trade at $1247.20 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.09% to 1.1683, while EUR/GBP fell 0.05% to 0.8837.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 94.48.
